Please be advised that the children’s play set and table set located in the community playground area have been removed and the playground common area is officially safe and open for use.

Thank you for your patience as your HOA board and Elite Property Management offices work to obtain competitive bids to select the replacement of the future play set to be installed in our community.

What’s next?

1. The HOA board has decided in The October 3rd meeting to remove the structure to maintain a green safe play area. – COMPLETED 10/21/18
2. We are obtaining quotes for several replacement ideas for review and consideration at the next board meeting. We are not jumping to replace it due to variability in ideas ( 1 swing, 2 swings, 3 swings, …. ), costs, and the current need in the community. Have an idea? Share it with the board here and participate at the next board meeting November 13th, 2018.

In case you did not know

Because the existing structure was both broken and rusty with sharp metal portions deeming the area unsafe for our kids, we had no choice but to remove it.

A word about changes to the common areas

For those home owners with suggestion to make changes to this common area, we would like to make you aware that any major/material change to the common areas require a majority vote by the membership (all current owners). Additionally, this community has had no call to action or discussions  about re-purposing this area.

This play set has exceeded its expected lifetime and is in need of replacement instead of maintenance.
