- The HOA board has decided in The October 3rd meeting to remove the structure to maintain a green safe play area. – COMPLETED 10/21/18
- Competitive bids were reviewed and a replacement selection was made on the 11/13/18 board meeting. – COMPLETED 11/13/18
- Installation of the new playground equipment – work in progress
In case you did not know
Because the existing structure was both broken and rusty with sharp metal portions deeming the area unsafe for our kids, we had no choice but to remove it.
A word about changes to the common areas
For those home owners with suggestion to make changes to this common area, we would like to make you aware that any major/material change to the common areas require a majority vote by the membership (all current owners). Additionally, this community has had no call to action or discussions about re-purposing this area.
This play set has exceeded its expected lifetime and is in need of replacement instead of maintenance.
